Mechanics #
The skills listed below can be learned by you as director, and can be taught to individual players through special training. They can also be learned semi-randomly as events or in-game. Some of these are one-time learnings, i.e., once you teach it to a player, they have that skill forever. Others have levels, like Quick to the Plate or Injury Resistance. You can teach those multiple times to level them up, and in the case of injury resistance at least, events can level them down.
Skills #
You might see 「教えられる特殊能力」 or parts of it in menus and other screens as in the manager listing shown below. This translates to “Special skills that can be taught”.
High Speed Batting #
高速弾
強振で芯を捉えると打球速度が上がる
Increases batted ball velocity when hit on the sweet spot with a power swing
Pinch Hitting #
代打
代打の時に打力が上がる
Improves hitting ability when pinch-hitting.
Sense of Presence (Hitter) #
存在感(打者)

Pressure the opposing pitcher with an overwhelming presence.
Consistent Hitter #
固め打ち
2安打している時にミートカが上がる
After getting two base hits in a game, contact ability increases for the rest of the game.
Opposite Field Hitter #
流し打ち
流した打球が切れにくい
Balls hit to the opposite slice less and are more likely to stay fair.
First Pitch #
初球
ノーストライクの時に打力が上がる
Increases batting power on the first pitch of the at bat.
(Note: The text actually says “situation with no strikes”, so this might apply to any zero-strike count.)
Second Helping #
おかわり
1本ホームランを打っている時にパワーが大きく上がる
After hitting a home run, the batter’s power increases significantly.
Winning Hit #
決勝打

Cut Hit (カット打ち) #
